Derek Stiegemeier, DPT
Director of Therapeutic Associates Nampa Physical Therapy, Derek Stiegemeier received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Montana in Missoula and his B.S. in Exercise Science from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. He is certified in Augmented Soft-Tissue Mobilization (The ASTYMTM System). Derek will be working toward becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) and gaining multiple levels of certification through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).
Derek also has extensive experience in a variety of sports. He is a former competitive alpine ski racer for the Bogus Basin Ski Racing Alliance and later for the Regional and National champion Rocky Mountain College alpine ski team. In addition to ski racing, Derek is also a coach and athlete for the Therapeutic Associates/Performance High triathlon training program, and has experience in both classic and Xterra triathlons. His clinical experience ranges from athletic enhancement and run technique analysis/coaching to high-speed video biomechanical analysis, cycle fits, and injury prevention.
Derek’s clinical emphasis is on orthopedics with a focus on manual therapy and biomechanical analysis of the upper and lower extremities.
